Volunteer your Time

Volunteers who want to garden can get involved in several different ways. The EGP hosts monthly ‘Group Gardening‘ sessions where diverse groups of gardeners get together in different gardens and work (and learn!) together. Group Gardening activities include spring clean-up, planting, weeding, some watering, harvesting, seed saving and fall clean-up.

More experienced gardeners may wish to participate as ‘Garden Mentors‘ working closely with small groups of newer gardeners to share skills and learn together. If you are interested in mentoring, or being a ‘mentee’, please fill out our registration form.

Throughout the year the EGP attends a variety of events to promote the project and network in the community. The activities during this time will be tabling and providing information to the public on the project. If you love meeting people and sharing information in the community, become an EGP events volunteer!
