Connecting gardens with gardeners

The EGP maintains food gardens on a variety of public and private spaces. As our programs grow, we are continuing to look for additional garden space. If you have garden space that you do not use, the EGP may want to come and cultivate a food garden. You will have a chance to meet the EGP coordinator and person or persons who will be tending to the garden. Volunteer garden stewards will visit your site to maintain, water and harvest – produce grown will be donated to those in need in the area.

We also try to connect members of the community without access to garden space with those who do. If you’re looking for space, or have space to share with your neighbour, click here.

To be considered for cultivation, garden spaces must have good light exposure, access to water and good soil quality.  If you’ve got space to share are want it to flourish as a garden, you can either share that space with the EGP, or with your neighbour.
