October 21st, 2007: Dream Vancouver Conference. Join Think City and SFU’s Public Policy Program in developing new ideas and proposals around how we think the region should develop. http://dreamvancouver.ca 10am-4pm. Pre-registration required.

October 13-14th, 2007 (RESCHEDULED!): Lynn Canyon Ecology Centre (3663 Park Road) for a film festival and resource fair to celebrate our local harvest! Featuring: Free Seeds donated by West Coast Seeds, Free Gardening Workshops, Delicious goodies to buy, displays from local food organizations, and films about food, farming and gardening. For a full schedule of the weekends events and for a full list of films go to The Lynn Canyon Ecology Centre. The EGP will be presenting a Free Urban Food Gardening Workshop on Saturday the 13th from 1-2:30 (pre-registration required, 604-981-3103).

October 9th, 2007: Food Security Video Conference 3-5pm. Join Vancouver Coastal Health for a discussion around local food security and disaster planning. Then get an update on the activities of the EGP and the Harvest Project. Auditorium, Lions Gate Hospital.

(Please note: This event has been cancelled) September 30th, 2007: Plenty: A Local Harvest Celebration, 10am to 4pm at VanDusen Gardens. This event will feature a farmers' market, organic food vendors, workshops and speakers as well as food-themed fun for the whole family. Join the EGP in celebrating local food!

September 29th, 2007: EGP Group Gardening Session 10am-noon. Join with other gardeners in harvesting fall foods, and putting the garden to bed for the winter.

September 15th, 2007: North Shore Recycling Program Natural Garden Tour 11am to 4pm. Come visit EGP veggie experts in the garden! www.naturalgardenstour.com

August 25th, 2007: EGP Natural Garden Party with the NSRP. Join us in the garden with guest presenter Mike Nassichuk on August 25th for snacks and an extra special vegetable gardening session! Pre-registration required.

August 4-6th, 2007: This BC Day weekend join the Lynn Canyon Ecology Centre (3663 Park Road) for a film festival and resource fair to celebrate our local harvest! July 28th, 2007: Group Gardening Session #4. 10am-noon. Come play with other gardeners, share ideas and ask questions while helping in an EGP garden site.

July 21st, 2007: West Vancouver Capers Fundraising BBQ! Join us at Capers (2496 Marine Drive) to sample a variety of delicious Capers products! All proceeds to the EGP.

June 30th, 2007: Group Gardening Session #4. 10am-noon. Come laugh with other gardeners, share ideas and ask questions while helping in an EGP garden site.

June 25th to late October, 2007: EGP Harvest Collection Begins. (see drop-off schedule). Drop off your home-grown produce weekly at various locations on the North Shore to help those in need access fresh healthy food.

June 10th, 2007: North Shore Neighbourhood Garden Party. Join us to celebrate with the North Shore Neighbourhood House and the Lower Lonsdale Community Garden. Join us for tea and cake at the Lower Lonsdale Community Garden (E 2nd Street and St. Georges), 1-4:00pm. Wear your fancy hats!!!

May 26th , 2007: Group Gardening Session #3. 10am. Come meet other gardeners, ask questions, and help get the EGP gardens going!

April 29th, 2007: North Shore Bear Festival. 10am-4pm at Ambleside Park. Come talk to us about your Fruit Trees, and learn about bears and the environment on the North Shore.

April 28th, 2007: EGP Group Gardening Session #2. Come meet other gardeners, ask questions, and help get the EGP gardens going

April 22nd, 2007: Whole Foods Earth Day Event. Come help us celebrate the planet at Whole Foods (Park Royal Shopping Centre) noon-4pm.

March 31st, 2007: Group Gardening Session 10am. Come meet other gardeners, ask questions, and help get the EGP gardens going! Please RSVP for location (coordinator@ediblegardenproject.com ).

March 30th, 2007: Seeds in the City! 6:30pm. Food, Movie and Speakers from Farm Folk City Folk, The EGP and Whole Foods. St. Andrew’s United Church, 1044 St. Georges.

March 17th and 18th, 2007: GardenWords Garden Planning and Preparation Event, Spring Clinic Series. 2pm Edible Garden Project Veggie Gardening Clinic. Capilano Garden Works

March 10th: GardenSmart pesticide free garden workshop with Arzeena Hamir and the North Shore Recycling Program. 10am West Vancouver Library
