A workshop like this would be perfect. I think that urban growing is going to explode in popularity due to rising food prices and the need for more local produce and I want to get started.

I'm obviously late for this one but I'll be looking out for the next workshop that comes up.

An urban farm is a fantastic idea. There's a DVD coming out in Novemeber called "Urban Permaculture" which could help these guys out.

I am willing to build a garden in my yard for a long time but it is always tough for me to take the decision, from where to start, when to start, how to start. Thanks to Sharon Hanna for giving us this opportunity to learn something about gardening.

I would like to volunteer for that but the problem is that I am in the Philippines. I have my own edible garden here filled with fresh vegetables. My kids helps me grow the fruits and vegetables and since they know where they came from, they love eating it!

My kale is taking over the world in my backyard. Some has even cropped up on the other side of the fence in my neighbors yard.
Fortunately, we love kale :)

Speaking of cropping up, my arugula has found some new growing spots up the driveway. Smells nice along with the wild oregano.
